Job Description
The National Treasury’s Chartered Accountants Academy is offering a CA Trainee Programme for 2025. This three-year full-time training contract provides aspiring chartered accountants the opportunity to develop essential Professional Values, Attitudes, and Acumens (PVAA) necessary for success in the CA(SA) profession.
Responsibilities
- Training Placement: Trainees will be assigned to various units within the National Treasury to gain practical experience and clarify key learning areas.
- Professional Development: Engage in comprehensive training designed to enhance your accounting skills and professional competencies.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or an equivalent qualification that meets the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) requirements to write the Initial Test of Competence (ITC) in January 2025.
- Candidates currently completing their CTA or in their final year of an equivalent qualification may also apply.
Experience
- No prior work experience is necessary; however, relevant academic qualifications are essential.
